Information resources 'on the go'

Increasingly, people are accessing information resources on smartphones and other handheld devices. A number of resources have versions that are already optimised for mobile use, including:

• EBSCOHost Mobile (to search Medline, CINAHL and Health Business Elite and access thousands of full-text articles)


• NHS Evidence


• Clinical Knowledge Summaries


• TRIP Database


• Pubmed

EBSCOHost Mobile is available to holders of Athens accounts from Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (although other healthcare organisations may also have access). Click on 'Mobile Access' after logging in. The other resources do not require passwords to search.
